United Support Services, Inc., founded in 2003, is an innovative engineering and technology business headquartered in San Diego, CA. USS is seeking a **Tool Room/IMRL Manager** (PHSF) **to provide support at **the Presidential fleet at NAS Patuxent River Md**. Contractor support is required for the VH-92A, VH-3D, VH-60N, test aircraft and other aircraft. Contractor performance includes but is not limited to flight operations support; O, I and D-level aircraft maintenance; aircraft and component overhaul and repair; technical and engineering support; modification kit development, management and installation; aircraft acceptance and transfer inspections; technical directive incorporation; bulletin compliance; and Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) for VH-92A aircraft.

**Please note: This position is contingent on the contract awarded to PKL Services. The period of Performance will be 5 years and is expected to start in November 2024.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**The Tool Room/IMRL Manager** performs technical supply management to include the storage, requisition, receipt, issue and cataloging of inventory items tools and IMRL necessary to support maintenance of any aircraft assigned and emerging maintenance requirements including Phase Kit items. Additional duties and responsibilities include:

- Working knowledge of supply and METCAL/Support Equipment Resource Management Information System reporting procedures.
- Maintains records of tools issued and returned.
- Maintains records of and ensures calibration of all required items (METCAL).
- Manages inventory, receives, stores, and issues common/specialized tools, hand-tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, consumables, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices. Searches for lost or misplaced tools.
- Prepares periodic inventory and keeps continuous inventory and requisitions stock as needed.
- Unpacks and stores new equipment.
- Visually inspects tools and/or measures with micrometer for wear or defects.
- Reports damaged and/or worn-out equipment to superiors.
- Identifies tools and equipment, using electric marking tool, tags or engrave information.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of six (6) years actual experience performing aforementioned skills. Experience must be within the last 5 years.
- Rotary Wing Aircraft experience required. S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N helicopter experience preferred.

**Education Requirement**:

- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of the IRML Asset Manager Course C-55S-2020 or Support Equipment Asset Managers Course D-555-0026.

**Other Requirements**:

- Top Secret (TS) U.S. Security Clearance. Must be eligible for a Yankee White (YW) U.S. Security Clearance. Only US citizens eligible for this position.
- Individuals released from Military Service with other than “Honorable Discharge” do not meet minimum qualifications.
- CONUS and OCONUS travel may occasionally be required.

**Physical Demands and Work Environment**
- This position requires normal physical functions.
- Ability to both sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key).
- Work may require frequent bending, reaching, and climbing.
- Must be able to work on ladders.
- Must be able to lift and pull objects weighing up to 40 pounds at a time or greater than 40 lbs. with assistance.
- Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
- Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
- May be exposed at times to moderate discomforts such as heat, cold, rain, wind.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Office/shop environment, hangar and flightline
- May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in or passing through a hazardous area.
