Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial concepts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead U.S subsidiaries to a timely and accurate process ensuring compliance with and keeping up to date with accounting regulation changes
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, manage month end checklist, review and approve journal entries, gather relevant/insightful explanations for variances (vs budget, prior year, forecast)
- Provide management with timely and accurate financial reports and analysis to facilitate decision-making
- Oversee all general accounting functions including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Manage staff of 2 direct report and 2 dotted line
- Manage cost accounting function, maintain standard cost and provide explanations for purchase price variances as incurred
- Stewardship - ensure effective internal controls are in place; update policies and procedures; oversee working capital needs and treasury operations.
- Internal assessment and enforcement of internal control; continuous assessment and improvement of accounting policies and procedures
- Daily treasury management including cash flow forecasting, payment approvals and wire transfer requests
- Planning processes - assist with monthly forecast update and annual budget planning
- Lead the Tax and Annual audits (working with external third party providers)
- Complete monthly and quarterly sales tax filings; annual 1099 filing
- Oversee annual physical inventory count procedures and develop recommendations for continuous process improvement and inventory control improvements
- Administer and oversee the Corporate Visa program

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, CPA preferred.
- 10 Years of Manufacturing experience, working knowledge of Standard Costs
- In-depth understanding of financial concepts
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Computer skills, Net Suite and Excel

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
