Position Overview:
The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing unit. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with established policies and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise all financial activities within the manufacturing division, ensuring adherence to company policies.
2. Create and manage budgets, including the preparation of financial forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
3. Generate precise and timely financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
4. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform strategic decisions and enhance business performance.
5. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other financial standards.
6. Oversee the ERP system to guarantee accurate data management and reporting.
7. Collaborate with various departments to devise strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency and profitability.
8. Perform regular financial audits to verify accuracy and compliance.
9. Provide financial insights and support to the management team, including the preparation of comprehensive financial presentations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. At least 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, with a strong preference for candidates with Controller experience.
3. Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
4. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and Cost Accounting principles.
5. Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
6. Strong grasp of financial processes, including budgeting and profitability analysis.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial data clearly.
9. High integrity and dependability, with a results-oriented mindset.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
