**BASIC SUMMARY**:
The Compliance Assistant provides administrative support to the Compliance Officer and the Bank’s overall compliance activities.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Provide support in the compliance department’s day-to-day operations.
- Research and report on various compliance topics including changes in legislation and compliance requirements.
- Assist with the development and updating of policies and procedures.
- Communicate changes in existing compliance policies/procedures to required audiences.
- Develop and deliver training on various compliance topics.
- Assist with monitoring compliance related activity including preparing written compliance reports.
- Assist with daily BSA monitoring and reporting.
- Perform occasional data analysis.
- Perform periodic internal compliance reviews and ensure findings are corrected in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparation for audits and examinations.
- Maintain documentation and records of compliance activities.
- Comply with Code of Ethics standards and all applicable bank laws and regulations.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- _**Education**:_High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- _**Experience**:_One to three years related compliance experience preferred, ideally in a bank setting.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and work/type at a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:
- General office working conditions, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Pay: From $16.68 per hour
