Full-service Creative Agency in NYC has an exciting new role for an ambitious, strategic Business Director with 10+ years experience in a client-facing role within a brand, creative, or consulting services organization. You will oversee creative programs from concept to execution for their clients while driving commercial opportunities and goals forward for the agency.

Business Leadership:

- Knowledge and foundation of developing and launching campaigns, with a lens towards integration, across creative/media/channels, with a multidisciplinary team
- Organized business driver with skills in shepherding a project from initial inquiry through to scope development and strategy through production and delivery, with experience creating and tracking accurate budgets, drafting client scopes, managing resources and timelines
- Employs a collaborative approach developed in partnership with the team to oversee the delivery of creative programs
- Player/manager who is comfortable developing teams and thrives on nurturing internal talent and building organizations

Client Partnership:

- Relentless curiosity about clients’ business to develop impactful marketing strategies, with a background in working across diverse industries (ranging from tech, b2b to CPG and sport) and outputs (brand strategy, integrated campaigns, content/experiential productions)
- Lead overall relationships with senior clients to drive goals/objectives and align stakeholders, contributing to strategic value
- Guide strategy and outputs that result in effective marketing programs, identifying breakthrough ideas while anticipating client perspectives
- Be a strong cross-functional collaborator - skilled at bringing people together to achieve common goals and establish ways of working bespoke to business needs

Business Growth:

- Lead new business initiatives and drive programs forward from briefing through to execution
- Responsible for implementing strategies to grow clients’ brands and the business with both existing and new clients
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of the marketing and creative agency landscape

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- 10+ overall years of experience including 4-6 years of management experience in a client-facing role within a brand, creative, or consulting services organization. Individuals should have successful management experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record managing integrated accounts for an organization with a solid understanding of how media, creative, and production come together to deliver large-scale campaigns.
- Excellent writing, presentation skills, and communication skills, including experience leading meetings across multiple partners and running new business pitches.
- You are a thinker, a mentor, and a motivator.
- Entrepreneurial by nature. Must have the ability to anticipate problems, creatively problem-solve, and be comfortable with being hands-on.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
