Director of Business Development/Marketing

Brooklyn, NY

250k + commission

Large home care agency is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to support and lead their marketing team in effectively promoting their services and supporting their marketing professionals in the field.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Strategic Leadership:** Develop and implement strategic initiatives to support the marketing efforts of the organization, including field visits, presentations, and relationship building with key stakeholders.

2. **Team Management:** Lead and mentor a team of marketing support specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of marketing activities and achievement of goals.

3. **Collaboration:** Work closely with the marketing team to align marketing support activities with overall marketing strategies and objectives, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in messaging and branding.

4. **Field Support:** Accompany marketers on field visits to various community centers, care manager facilities, nursing homes, and other locations as needed, providing hands-on support and guidance.

5. **Presentation Coordination:** Assist marketers in preparing and delivering presentations to potential clients, community groups, and healthcare professionals, ensuring that key messages are effectively communicated.

6. **Relationship Management:** Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, care managers, nursing home staff, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate marketing efforts and generate referrals.

9. **Training and Development:** Develop and deliver training programs for marketers on effective marketing strategies, presentation techniques, and best practices for client engagement and relationship building.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies and supporting marketing professionals in achieving their goals.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to excel.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish professional relationships.

- Willingness to travel within the local area as needed.
