**KBR** leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the **Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP)**. KBR’s enduring mission support of the **LOGCAP** program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries. In this role, you will be a part of the **LOGCAP Program Management Office (PMO)** guiding and directing our **LOGCAP** team globally.

**Job Summary**

As a** HSE Supervisor,** you will function as a Subject Matter Expert, specifically on the topics of cranes, lifting, and material handling equipment. Your area of responsibility will include military equipment maintenance operations as well as construction. In this role, you will report directly to the LOGCAP PMO Senior Manager.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement the health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines pertaining to cranes, lifting, and material handling equipment.
- Ensure guidelines meet IAW Federal, state, local, and contractual requirements.
- Lead and conduct near-miss and incident investigations, including Root Cause analysis.
- Develop Risk Assessment for projects and shop individual tasks.
- Create, audit, and correct (AHA/TSTI) for task assignments.
- Interact with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes, and regulations within the chain of command.
- Determine requisites for and organize audits of company operated properties.
- Remain informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards and changes pertaining to crane, lifting, and material handling equipment.
- Assist in development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.
- Solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices.
- Use experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes.
- Provide guidance to the HSE team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Basic Qualifications**
- ** Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Security clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position.**:

- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (from an accredited college or university) in Health, Safety, and Environmental, and at least 8 years of experience involving cranes, lifting, and material handling equipment. A High School diploma and an additional 7 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must have a strong knowledge of OSHA federal regulations and Army AR385-10 specifically related to cranes, lifting and material handling equipment.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with military heavy vehicle and equipment maintenance operations, such as ASP missions.
- Must possess OSHA 502 and 503 certifications.
- Must possess current NCCCO Proctor certification.
- Must possess current NCCER Trainer certification.
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout the world on short notice.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must be able to provide verification of all qualifications/certifications.
- ** Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.**

**Preferred Qualifications**
- A BCSP CIT (certified instructional trainer) designation.
- Ability to balance strategic and tactical requirements in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in technology and programs supporting Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) HSE is preferred.
- Passionate and Resilient.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness and ability to work in austere and/or remote conditions.
