The Peer Supervisor oversees peer support programs focused on community outreach and engagement, navigation to services for ongoing medical, mental health, and social services; these programs will address mental health diagnosis, co-morbid physical and mental health concerns. The supervisor ensures that staff navigate physical, mental health, and social systems, to provide services to other behavioral health recipients as needed.

As a supervisor, they will help foster healthy teamwork within the agency and exhibit excellent leadership values to motivate staff and create efficiency for the team to reach their expected goals.

This individual will be able to provide navigation guidance for dual diagnosis, multiple drug dependency, behavioral and trauma-based issues seen in office-based settings, and referrals for best practice services that align with the most appropriate level of care for patients.

This individual will directly supervise BHT I and BHT II Peer Support Programs which consist of Integrated Community Health Workers and Crisis Transition Navigators who focus on Peer Support, OTP, Employment, Veteran Services, and navigation to social services. This individual will coordinate and monitor the scheduling, performance measures, training, and service provision of said staff. This individual will conduct interviews, hire, evaluate, and train new staff to ensures they are working within their scope of work and have the necessary equipment and materials to do their job.

This individual will report the Clinical Director of Integrated Peer Support Service. This individual will assist with program development, reporting program measures and outcomes, and will assist with community partnership relationships. Other, Administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Peer Support Services

** NHSC Loan Repayment Program - **awards up to $50,000 in exchange for a two-year commitment** to provide primary medical, dental, or mental/behavioral health care at approved sites in high-need, underserved areas. HRSA has removed the two-tier scoring, allowing all applicants to receive up to $50,000 in awards regardless of HPSA score. NHSC LRP recipients are eligible to extend their service and potentially pay off all of their educational debt with continuation contracts.

**Job qualifications**
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Master’s degree in behavioral health (B.H.) and 1 year of BH experience.
- Must hold an active associate level or independent level behavioral health license, as approved by AZBBHE.
- Must have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide the behavioral health services that the agency is authorized to provide and to meet the unique needs of consumer populations served by the agency, including children and meet requirements for a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP).
- Must be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and understanding of human behavior and counseling theories.
- Must have sufficient knowledge of the substance abusing population, treatment planning and the field of human social services to work towards the rehabilitation of the client community.
- Knowledge in DSM 5 TR diagnosing.
- Maintain an awareness of substance abuse symptoms, signs, and best practice treatment.
- Ability to develop routine reports and correspondence.
- Must be able to execute conflict resolution.

- Strong verbal, written, and communications skills
- Knowledge of Windows environment and/or Electronic Health Records Systems.
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive services
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
- Must maintain current BLS certification
- Covid 19 Vaccination or Qualified Exemption (Religious or Medical).
- TB Screening Record and PPD/QuantiFERON/Chest x-ray as applicable upon hire
- Vaccinations/Titer’s Test/Declination Form: Flu, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella
