**Operations Manager - Job Description**:The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a nonprofit organization specializing in providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Operations Manager should have a comprehensive knowledge of all OPWDD services and regulations.
**Operations Manager - Responsibilities**:This is a supervisory management position that requires a variety of clinical & administrative tasks. You must effectively oversee the day-to-day operations, compliance and quality of all program staff, program participants and OPWDD program services.
- Maintain constant communication with managers, staff & vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
- Develop, implement & maintain quality assurance protocols.
- Oversee the administration of all service coordination.
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the organization’s capacity.
- Employee management: Working closely with departments like HR to support staff development and adherence to workplace standards.
- Tracking staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed, recruitment, and training.
- Review, edit and approve employees' work hours.
- Prepare employee work schedules and create weekly client schedules.
- Overseeing and maintaining all documentation required by OPWDD/Medicaid in organizational portals.
- Review behavior plans - make recommendations, train staff on implementation, provide recommendations of data collection protocol, oversight of implementation and changes
- Conduct assessments for new enrollments.
- Develop & implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations.
- Ensure organizational processes comply with legal regulations and standards.
- Uphold health and safety guidelines & enforce compliance.
- Monitor employee and team performance - offering coaching, training & feedback for improvement.
- Handle budgets to meet strategic goals.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organizational objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Optimize workflows and processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Operations Manager - Required Skills & Qualifications**
- College degree - required.
- Knowledge of OPWDD services and regulations.
- 2 or more years of proven success in a management role.
- Strong skills in oversight.
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations.
- Proficiency in conflict management.
