About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team at Michael Foods, Inc. in Norwalk, Iowa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and directing all maintenance work, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial operations, maintenance, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and decipher mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
