**Description**

The Knowledge Management (KM) Analyst will provide the Army National Guard Bureau (ARNG) with support to form, organize and sustain the G3 KM program to enhance overall operations. The KM Analyst will ensure information is readily available, enabling timely decisions and better support customers. The KM Analyst will serve as the focal point for bringing together the extended joint team needed for the G3 KM program’s success. The Analyst will use existing ARNG KM guidance, Army KM standards and available Army and ARNG systems and assets (e.g. GKO (SharePoint), GEARS for documents, MilSuite, MilWiki, InfoPath for data collection).

Tasks Include:

- Lead development and maintenance of the Knowledge management plan and associated processes.
- Shared Folder and SharePoint Site Collection Management.
- Support KM Community of Practice (CoP) meetings to exchange best practices, provide status on enterprise KM activities and effectiveness, and plan for future KM initiatives.
- Continuous improvement of organizational knowledge management and communications practices.
- Implement and govern the execution of the knowledge management plan and associated processes.

**Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration or information technology with three (3) years of related knowledge management experience or formal Knowledge Management Training.
- Current DoD Secret security clearance.

**Knowledge Required**
- Three (3) years of knowledge managment experience
- One (1) year of SharePoint experience. Working knowledge of publishing pages and resources with updates and edits using content editors and HTML.

**Knowledge Desired**
- Experience and understanding of DoD, Arny, ARNG, Joint Staff, and State agencies.
- Army Knowledge Management experience
- Experience with systems such as GEARS, Guard Knowledge Online, milSuite, and Strategic Management System.
- Completion of the Army Knowledge Management Qualification Course.
