Technical Product Manager

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the Employee Handbook and otherwise posted or communicated. Exemplify the BakeMark Core Values and Ways of Working in all aspects of assigned responsibilities, and other projects and duties as assigned.
- Plans and leads execution of assigned technical marketing projects. Accountable for actively tracking progress and proposing changes and improvements as needed to meet and/or exceed expectations. Ensures focus is maintained on promoting the growth of the BakeMark branded product portfolio.
- Leads the development of the BakeMark Technical Services team, working with the Customer Engagement Specialist to facilitate training opportunities and skills development for each member of the team. Ensures that each Technical Service Representative is meeting and/or exceeding expectations within the assigned regions and assigned projects.
- Directly manages the activity of the BakeMark Technical Services team. Works directly with the Customer Engagement Specialist, Sales and Marketing leaders to identify and validate all sales opportunities requiring Technical support, assigns Technical Services as requested and follows-up with all post-visit activity to ensure opportunities are fully explored and properly managed within the CRM platform (funnel process).
- Acts as lead for all BakeMark product knowledge and training activities. Works directly with Marketing and Technical Services to develop new training content, ensuring updates are made onto the online learning platform. Also owns the agenda, product selection and training activities related to new hire product training, leading the team to implement training across the BakeMark branches.
- Follows BakeMark’s best practices in Marketing and BakeMark’s Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety rules, as well as takes responsibility for house-keeping and sanitation duties for work area and as assigned.
**Supervision**:
- This position will directly manage the BakeMark Technical Services team.
**Qualifications**:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Employee must have a valid California Driver’s License and have his or her own dependable method of transportation.

**Education and/or Experience**:
- Certification from an accredited culinary or baking school, or a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing is required.
- Must have at least 10 years of experience working within various bakery operational settings, both as a baker and as a supervisor or manager.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
