**Tecovas** is looking for a Content Manager to be an integral part of the overall marketing team and our upward trajectory as a brand and leader in the Western Goods category_. _Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Strategy, you will be a natural connector, a consumer-obsessed anthropologist, and a creative visionary who likes to tell and make engaging stories. As the Content Manager, you will be the ultimate interpreter of our brand strategy, translating it into compelling everyday content placed at the fingertips of our key consumer groups. At its core, this Content Manager role is about creating intrinsic value and delivering it as a resource to our audience and the growing Western community_._

**What you'll do**:

- Deeply understand the ever-changing content landscape (from YouTube to TikTok) and provide guidance on the best methods and mediums to reach our consumers
- Contribute to long-range and annual strategic marketing planning, shaping and integrating content strategy into our overall brand vision
- Translate brand strategy into content themes mapped to target consumers and build a calendar optimized for strategic inflection points throughout the year.
- Track down and craft stories across the Tecovas org, our network of partners, and throughout the broader industry that helps articulate our brand value and pull consumers closer to the Western mindset.
- Play a critical cross-functional role between product marketing, digital data-driven organic content, and innovative growth-oriented content
- Work directly with our marketing operations and creative teams to produce content that achieves brand marketing goals across all consumer touchpoints.
- Manage and negotiate outside content partners/agencies to drive positive sentiment and healthy engagement in the Tecovas marketing ecosystem; oversee and negotiate all contracts to ensure the best partnerships and caliber of deliverables.
- Create content GTM plans that leverage the full marketing ecosystems; amplify and integrate content assets across all other marketing efforts, with a dedicated eye on social, retail, PR/influencers, and partnerships
- As a marketing leader, bring fresh ideas to the entire marketing org and take calculated risks to build overall brand affinity.

**Experience we're looking for**:

- 4+ years experience with all aspects of content ideation, development, and distribution
- Experience leading and managing at least 2+ direct reports
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to react quickly to changes and challenges
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem solving
- Proven track record of creating content that engages audiences and pulls them closer to the brand
- Previous experience building a robust network that connects you with exciting stories, people, and content creators
- Experience in the fashion industry is preferred
- Established connections and experience in the western and outdoor industry are a plus.
