Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
**HR Management**:

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to PastryStar’s needs.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new and departing employees.
- Manage employee relations and provide guidance on HR matters, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage employee development programs to support career growth.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Coordinate training sessions and professional development activities, with a focus on industry-specific skills.
- Handle employee benefits administration and payroll coordination.

**Executive Assistance**:

- Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives at PastryStar.
- Manage executive calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations specific to the bakery and pastry industry.
- Coordinate and organize meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, Executive Assistant, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in the bakery and pastry industry.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
