**Overview**

Stewart Filmscreen is actively seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Southern California.

Established in 1947, Stewart Filmscreen is the leading manufacturer of professional projection screens and reference standard projection screen material for the AV industry. Headquartered in Torrance, CA, with additional sales offices in Denmark and Singapore, Stewart is the preferred choice for major movie studios, discerning integrators and consultants, architects, and audio video enthusiasts, alike.

**Summary**:
This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation, accuracy and daily operation of Shipping & /receiving. Organize, and oversee the daily status of shipments, to ensure shipping and delivery deadlines are met. Work closely with all departments to support billing accuracy.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.**
- Loading and unloading of trucks s
- Processing correct documentation necessary to maintain accurate records - Receiving Records, BOL, Packing Slips, Shipping Labels, RMA receipts
- Coordinate Will Calls
- Stage product for shipping and work with drivers on proper handling and loading of finished goods
- Distribute items received to the proper inventory location and notify that department of receipt.
- Assist in doing the proper receiving and material movement transactions in the computer system - including RMA
- Receive shipments into ERP system and communicate with purchasing and accounts payable.
- Distribute items received to the proper inventory location and notify the proper personnel in the department of the receipt.
- Assist in handling and maintaining the finished goods inventory stored in the back lot area. Help maintain orderliness of back lot.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- None

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Good computer skills/ERP environment
- Knowledge of Shipping/Receiving/Material Control transactions
- Forklift training-Will Train
- **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:

- 1-3 years shipping and logistics experience
- High School Degree or Equivalent

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**:

- Good math skills
- Familiar with fractions, tape measure and unit of measure conversions

**ABILITIES AND SKILLS**:

- Possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High organizational skills

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**:

- Valid drivers license

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:

- Heavy lifting - 50-75 lbs on a daily basis

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- High paced/time sensitive and some multi-tasking needed at times
- Office and Production
Pay: $18.00 per hour
