We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of invoicing for job cost construction projects, processing billings and monitoring incoming payments.

**Responsibilities**
- Process job cost billing invoices for construction projects. Billings may include Time and Material, AIA, Pay Apps, Progress, Final, Retention or SOV and Contract billings.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
- Prepare bills and invoices
- Work with customers and Project Managers to ensure the projects are being billed on a timely basis according to work completed
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients when needed
- Process Prelims and Mechanics Liens

**Skills**
- Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software. Computer Ease software experience helpful.
- Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
