**Position summary**:
The FOH Manager reports to and supports the General Manager in fueling manager and staff development, maximizing profitability and helps drive their location to achieve at high levels. Additionally, they help assess quality in every facet of the business and ensure that Alter culture is maintained. - Implement safe working practices to ensure safety of building occupiers and visitors.
- Participate in monthly management report meetings.
- Understands all aspects of financial controls including, but not limited to, cost of goods sold, labor, and supplies.
- Held accountable for meeting all deadlines, protocols, and policies and procedures
- Ensures execution of innovative and creative ideas that drive incremental sales and organic growth
- Ensures their location is properly using and maintaining all operational systems including but not limited to POS systems, Open Table, gift card processing and loyalty programs.
- Report sensitive personnel issues to the General Manger.
- Understands all marketing initiatives and assists in proper execution.
- Understands and assists the General Manager in the execution of strategies that achieve maximum sales growth and cost controls.
- Proficient in BOH functions, including expo, BOH closing procedures, food knowledge, dish and sanitation.
- Responsible for all money handling/money accountability during their shift.
- Responsible for proper money safe and checkout procedures.
- Responsible for the appearance of the physical property at the end of each shift.
