Role Overview:
The friendly face at the register? That's our cashier, the Nandoca who enhances the Nando's experience at the point of sale. The cashier efficiently manages cash and credit transactions while ensuring the register is balanced at the end of each shift. As a menu expert, the cashier assists customers in their selections and accurately inputs their orders into the system. Our cashiers are quick, efficient, and serve as warm and welcoming guides to our guests. They collaborate with the team to exceed customer expectations and deliver the Nando's experience.

Minimum Requirements and Expectations:
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team setting
  • Capacity to remain calm and productive under pressure
  • Commitment to high-quality service, with knowledge of food and beverages
  • Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Basic English language skills and professional communication are required
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 15lbs independently for extended periods
  • Ability to stand, walk, and navigate stairs while carrying food items and dishes throughout your shift
  • Must be capable of walking and/or standing for 8-10 hours each day
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and lift overhead
  • Must be able to navigate stairs in multi-level restaurants
