**BASIC FUNCTIONS**:Supervise facility cleaning and maintenance staff and oversee the cleaning and maintenance of LaCasa de Esperanza’s properties (see property locations).

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1) Cleaning & Maintenance:

- Oversee daily activities of the facilities cleaning & maintenance staff.
- Perform necessary cleaning & maintenance duties.
- Ensure all grounds are clean and free of debris.
- Walk the building daily and complete the daily cleaning check list to make sure the building is clean.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed.
- Complete needed maintenance items as required or as requested by Director of Operations and/or President & CEO.
- Make and follow a schedule to ensure the necessary preventative maintenance is done including the changing of the HVAC filters.
- When necessary, arrange for completion of repairs and/or preventive maintenance by approved contractors/companies and provide verification of result.
- Maintain inventories including tools, cleaning supplies, paper products, general maintenance items (light bulbs, ceiling tiles, etc.) and re-order when necessary.
- Ensure the maintenance of grounds including lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, etc. is done in a timely manner.

2) Events:

- Assist with the set-up, take-down, cleaning and supervision of the facilities crew before, during after events.

3) Residential Properties:

- Ensure maintenance of residential properties.
- Rent residential properties to new tenants as they become vacant.
- Ensure the rental property is clean and in good repair and safe for the new tenant

4) Vehicles:

- Ensure that ECE vehicles follow State of Wisconsin transportation regulations as well as licensing.
- Make repair recommendations as required to the direct supervisor.

5) Facilities, general:

- Supervise Facilities cleaning & maintenance staff.
- Be part of the hiring of staff, determining workload, and delegating assignments, training, monitoring, and evaluating performance.
- Review and/or inspect work for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines, etc.
- Develop appropriate safety and/or service plans to alleviate risk, provide protection, etc.
- Make sure the daily closing checklist is completed & turned in at end of workday to ensure all doors are locked, all appliances are turned off and no one is in the building. Report any concerns to the Director of Operations.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Scattered Houses/townhouse including 213/215 & 301 Arcadian Ave & 1001 Caroline Street.
- Other future locations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience in cleaning and maintenance of a multi-level facility.
- Experience in supervising staff members.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks on time.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Experience in using a computer including all Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work your scheduled hours, overtime & weekends.
- Have a positive attitude and be a team player.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs., bend, squat, twist, sit and stand.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required and ability to work with diverse population.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
