**About the role**:
The Director of Marketing will directly lead all elements of the McCrometer Marketing function, including strategic marketing, product management, market communications, and demand generation. This position will provide both strategic and tactical marketing leadership to support the growth strategy across all verticals of the business.

This role will:

- Lead marketing and planning processes to design, develop, and implement short and long-term marketing strategies for new and existing product lines within new and existing customer verticals to drive market share growth and improve business revenue and profitability.
- Lead the implementation of marketing plans and activities including market research, brand and external and internal communication, tactical plans, and programs to optimize market share and profitability and marketing mix, outbound marketing, web/digital marketing, sales enablement, and marketing budgeting and forecasting.
- Be responsible for assessing current and future market conditions, product and service pricing practices, changing customer/prospect dynamics, and informing product development roadmap and launch excellence processes with fact-based and strategic insights.

This position is part of the Marketing department located in Hemet, California and will be on-site with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule.

In this role, you will:

- Develop and maintain a high caliber marketing team.
- Lead team of Vertical Market Managers and Product Managers to develop strategic understanding of vertical markets, conduct vertically focused STP, identify new strategic growth opportunities, and inform cross-functional R&D, product, and sales priorities.
- Execute in-depth competitive assessment studies and Voice of Customer/market research to drive recommendations for growth, including playing a critical leadership role in the annual strategic planning process.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and review existing go-to-market strategies to optimize growth.
- Lead market communications team and own successful implementation of campaign calendar and market segment promotional programs including web marketing campaigns to maintain distinct market positioning, and to drive brand preference & customer loyalty.
- Build and execute other Demand Creation Programs as needed to ensure full share potential of product lines.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the marketing strategy and identify new Marketing areas/methods/tools to support the business growth.
- Optimize KPI’s to measure effectiveness of marketing strategies and programs.
- Help develop the company´s marketing budget and manage costs in line with the budget.

**Are you qualified?**
- University degree in Business, Marketing or Advertising. MBA highly desirable.
- 7-10 years of marketing management experience in comparable/ growth-oriented industries with 3-5 years in a senior management position.
- Experience in market and product segmentation leading to competitive advantage in product and go-to-market strategy.
- Experience in planning and managing at both strategic and operational levels.
- Strong experience in strategic planning and analysis of sales, product management, marketing, and business strategy.
- Experience in strategic pricing, product line analysis and channel strategy.
- Proven track record building, leading, motivating and developing teams and building a world class marketing and product management organization.

The salary range for this role is $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future.
