Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications:
In this role, you’ll be providing hands-on systems engineering and programmatic leadership to develop and implement next generation satellite capabilities.

For this role, **key qualifications** include:

- Excellent written and verbal communications with a demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with customers at all levels, partners, and colleagues
- Experience in developing and implementing new space hardware systems (satellite and/ subsystem level)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced commercial environments and enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams on a diverse array of challenges related to satellite system development and implementation
- Experience managing external commercial customer interface
- BS or MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems preferred)
- Must be a US citizen or greencard holder
- Excellent written and verbal communications with a demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with customers at all levels, partners, and colleagues
- Must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently and in a team

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Spacecraft System Engineering expertise including but not limited to leading design trades, requirements decomposition, supplier evaluation, end-to-end architecture concepts, CONOPS development, ICD development, and creating technical proposals
- Experience in developing and implementing new satellite systems and with scaled production
- Experience in development and management of production systems, including tools, SW, schedule

Subsystem design and analysis, Systems Architecture development, bus systems engineering, electrical system design, mechanical system design, TTC, Comm payload design, Orbit Dynamics, GNC/ ACS design, and design for manufacture and test
- Domain expertise across a spectrum of technical domains such as: space environments analysis and test, PMP, thermal design/ analysis/ test, structural design/ analysis/ test, reliability, launch and mission analysis, ground system design

The typical pay range for this position is USD $160,000 - $250,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package)
