The Political Director is responsible for crafting and implementing ADP’s outreach plans, to grow the Party’s political influence, and expand the organization’s relationships with stakeholders The Political Director is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with diverse community groups, activists, and Democratic partners to build strong coalitions and alliances.

The Political Director will
- Create a strategy and outreach plan for increased voter engagement by creating and executing both high-visibility events and smaller, more private sessions with voters and key party leaders
- Utilize voter data and analytics to inform campaign strategies, track progress, and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate and serve as a staff liaison to ADP’s constituency-based caucuses and/or councils
- Deep knowledge of understanding of Arizona’s political landscape is required

This position reports directly to the ADP Chair and Executive Director.

**Essential Job Functions**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervising and accountability of Political Department staff in meeting goals and metrics.
- Supporting departments with planning and building for small and large events.
- Work with the State Party recognized Caucuses and Councils to devise an electoral program or to support an existing state-based electoral program that builds representation and power in the community and measures success.
- Engage with state or national committees, political campaigns, or non-profit organizations.
