Accounts Payable Specialist

BRANDITO is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The AP Specialist is responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including processing vendor bills, credit requests, weekly check runs and financial reporting. The AP specialist will work closely with the CFO and AP Coordinator to provide accounts payable support by utilizing systems such as Acumatica, Syncore and Microsoft Suite. The AP Specialist role requires effective communication and customer service as the position will interact with various teams internally and externally.

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Manage accounts payable using Acumatica and the Syncore Order Flow System
- Enter all bills and prepare weekly check run based on cash flow
- Ensure efficient and accurate posting of vendor payments
- Propose opportunities for improved cash flow through utilization of credit cards, extended credit terms and ACH optimization
- Assist in handling credit requests
- Assist in financial reporting tasks on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Make vendor calls to resolve open credit memos, rebates and bills
- Interact with suppliers’ AR departments
- Filing and data entry
- Preparing 1099s, ensuring proper filing with IRS

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in related area or relevant experience
- Experience in Acumatica, QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Suite with emphasis on Excel
- Please note, this position will work out of our Richmond, Virginia Headquarters and conform to a hybrid working schedule.
- Ability to pass background check

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
