This part time, hourly position reports to the CFO and is an onsite role at our Stockton street location.

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with strong attention to detail to join our team. This role involves processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring prompt vendor payments. Efficiency and organizational skills are key. Key Responsibilities:
  • Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Review invoices for proper documentation and resolve discrepancies before payment.
  • Sort, code, and match invoices.
  • Enter and upload invoices into the system.
  • Track expenses and process expense reports.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and handle inquiries.
  • Assist in month-end closing and reporting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and check payments weekly.
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
  • Generate monthly reports.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Quickbooks experience is a plus.
  • Concur experience is a plus.
