The National Account Manager for Amazon will join Simon & Schuster’s Digital & Online sales team and play a pivotal role managing the Amazon account. This individual will be responsible for managing inventory levels for print books and working with publishers to optimize our online sales presence.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Manage inventory for a select group of publishers, including estimating initial print runs and reorders.
2. Collaborate with partners on the supply planning and publishing teams to forecast Amazon’s inventory needs and reorder patterns.
3. Work with team to execute daily and weekly reporting for monitoring sales and managing inventory.
4. Pitch placement for our books through Amazon’s Book Editorial team via seasonal presentations, Edelweiss catalogs, manuscript mailings, and regular outreach.
5. Work with publishers to develop and implement ASAP marketing campaigns.
6. Help troubleshoot catalog and data integrity issues by acting as a key point person between S&S publishers and Amazon.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in online sales, preferably within the publishing industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for literature and digital innovation.
