The Sales Development & Customer Service representative connects clients and prospects to the appropriate company resource throughout the customer lifecycle. This role will build effective relationships with our sales teams and corporate support staff to support client retention and the development of new sales leads.

Active listening and clear communication are crucial for understanding needs and preferences. The Sales Development & Customer Service Representative role requires a high level of accuracy, timeliness, proactivity, and problem-solving.

**Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
1. Lead Assessment and Routing:

- Evaluate inbound leads based on specific criteria, such as interest level, budget, and fit with the company’s offerings.
- Determine whether a lead is genuinely interested and likely to convert into a customer.

2. Sales Development:

- Coordinate communication between a client and the sales representative to ensure effective handoff during the sales process.
- Work closely with sales representatives and marketing teams.
- Provide valuable insights to improve the sales process and customer journey.

3. Customer Service Liaison
- Promptly forward inquiries related to scheduling, invoices, and certificate or report verification to the appropriate party

**This job may be for you if have**:

- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a technical or engineering sales setting
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outgoing personality, approachable persona, and a collaborative mindset
