**THE POSITION**:
- Central San, a progressive public utility, is seeking a Utility Worker. This position will perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and mechanical duties supporting the operation of the wastewater treatment plant and/or the Collection System Operations facility. Duties will include performing buildings, grounds, and landscape maintenance duties.

- Typical duties may include:
- Cleaning wastewater tanks and ultra-violet disinfection facilities.
- Performing minor repairs and cosmetic restoration to District facilities and equipment.
- Loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Performing general mechanical and maintenance tasks using a variety of light construction equipment, power tools, hand tools, and vehicles.
- Performing landscape maintenance and janitorial work.
- Operating a variety of light construction equipment, power tools, hand tools, and vehicles.
- Performing basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and concrete and masonry work.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade.
**Experience**:
One (1) year of full-time experience in the maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities landscaping, and/or industrial equipment.
