Substance Use Disorder Services
  • Adult-focused programs
  • Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Initial assessments lasting 60 minutes
  • Follow-up sessions of 30 minutes
  • Manageable patient caseloads averaging around 200 per full-time equivalent
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations for individuals with substance use issues and concurrent mental health disorders
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) strategies, including but not limited to buprenorphine and methadone
  • Oversee medication management for patients in recovery, adjusting treatment as necessary
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing
  • Address co-occurring mental health challenges through integrated care approaches
  • Deliver specialized mental health services for patients with complex requirements, ensuring individualized attention
  • Engage in multidisciplinary meetings to coordinate comprehensive care, working alongside addiction specialists and social workers
  • Commit to ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in treatment methodologies
  • No on-call duties, night shifts, or weekend work required
  • Utilization of EPIC electronic medical records
  • Collaborative team environment including clerical staff, lead psychiatrists, program managers, clinical social workers, and therapists
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Annual salary of $331,490 for full-time adult psychiatric roles
