Substance Use Disorder Services
- Adult-focused programs
- Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Initial assessments lasting 60 minutes
- Follow-up sessions of 30 minutes
- Manageable patient caseloads averaging around 200 per full-time equivalent
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations for individuals with substance use issues and concurrent mental health disorders
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) strategies, including but not limited to buprenorphine and methadone
- Oversee medication management for patients in recovery, adjusting treatment as necessary
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing
- Address co-occurring mental health challenges through integrated care approaches
- Deliver specialized mental health services for patients with complex requirements, ensuring individualized attention
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings to coordinate comprehensive care, working alongside addiction specialists and social workers
- Commit to ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in treatment methodologies
- No on-call duties, night shifts, or weekend work required
- Utilization of EPIC electronic medical records
- Collaborative team environment including clerical staff, lead psychiatrists, program managers, clinical social workers, and therapists
- Annual salary of $331,490 for full-time adult psychiatric roles
