As a licensed mental health therapist, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our members.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and research methods.
- Instruct and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment regimens and adherence to prescribed medication.
- Prepare and maintain accurate, confidential records, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians in screening and evaluating patients for psychotropic medications, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
- Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation, contributing to the growth and improvement of our mental health services.
- Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to patient rights.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment, with a commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
- Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting, with a focus on crisis intervention and individual and group psychotherapy.
- Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity, with a commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
