**Compensation & Benefits**
The pay range for this **compensation package is between $139,586 and $199,644 per year**. Our existing sales representatives earned within this range in 2023. The compensation package includes a **base salary of $52,000 annually**, with the opportunity to earn a commission based on your sales performance. Depending on your experience, your base pay may increase, and you may also have the chance to earn a **company car and gas card within 12 months.**

- Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day while building rapport and relationships
- Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in presenting to customers and making a sale
- Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
- Physical endurance, as Sales Representatives may need to be on their feet for long hours, spending a lot of time traveling between locations
**Responsibilities**
As a fence estimator, your primary responsibility would be meeting with customers at their homes in a sales capacity. You will measure the customers' yards, show them fence options (photos on an iPad), and then talk with them about signing up for our fence installation services. You will then contact your customers throughout the fence buying and installation process. Your goal is to deliver the highest level of customer service to solicit a 5-star review from your happy customers near the end of the customer buying journey.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through calls and text messages
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the season
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
**Requirements**:
2 years of sales experience is required. Experience as a fence estimator is a plus if you consider yourself very coachable. We are ultimately looking for men and women to get consumers to like and trust us with their fence-buying needs.
- Proven work experience as a sales representative for a minimum of 2 years
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
**Skills**
- A basic understanding of computers, tablets, and phones is required.
- Using calendaring systems (i.e., Google Calendar) is a plus.
- Writing professional estimates and contracts for customers is a plus.
**Education**
There are no educational requirements for this role.
