**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Purchasing Clerks use our computer-based inventory system and physical inventory checks to:

- Determine purchasing needs for Alan's Lanw & Garden Center Inc.
- Place purchase orders for stock & special orders for customers of Alan's Lanw & Garden Center Inc.
- Purchase consumables for Alans Lawn and Garden Center Inc
- Process yearly bookings for all our manufacturers
- Process yearly & as needed parts returns for all our manufacturers
- Work closely with receiving clecks

**Qualifications**:

- MUST FIT OUR CORE VALUES: Hard working, Team Player, Does the Right thing, Reliable.
- Must be familiar with the Windows operating system (Office 365) and willing to learn our proprietary inventory management software.
- Applicants should have some type of purchasing or buyer experience.
- Applicants should have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of outdoor power equipment is a plus,
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required because we occasionally advance people from this position into other positions.
- Good social skills, Responsability, and hard work are also required.
