PreVeil a category-leading, profitable cybersecurity SaaS company is hiring a Director of New Market Development to help expand our proven platform beyond Defense into Healthcare, Legal, Tax, and Financial Services. Our encrypted email and file-sharing solution protects 2,200+ Defense contractors and has been recognized as PC Magazines Best Encrypted Email & File-Sharing Solution for five consecutive years.
We are seeking a Director of New Market Development to build PreVeils next growth engine by developing, validating, and scaling new lines of business outside Defense. This is a handson businessbuilding role combining strategic thinking, customer discovery, experimentation, and crossfunctional collaboration.
Assess and prioritize highpotential verticals through rapid market research and customer interviews
Run structured pilots and MVPs to validate messaging, pricing, and n channel strategies
Engage early customers to refine messaging and workflows
Work with Marketing, Sales, and Channel Partners to operationalize and scale traction based on validated learnings
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a GTM or General Management leader inside a successful SaaS company or who sees this experience as a steppingstone to launching their own venture.
BS/MS in a technical or quantitative field, or demonstrated technical fluency
MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
25 years in consulting, strategy, GTM, or product roles with a track record of building and scaling new markets or business lines
~ Experience running experiments, testing hypotheses, and Ajusting datadriven decisions in uncertain environments
~ Demonstrated use of generative AI to drive efficiency in market research, customer discovery, or GTM initiatives
~ Strategic ownership with operational responsibility you design and execute newmarket entry through structured experimentation.
