Job Summary

The School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering () at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications for a Research Scientist I position in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Applicants will be considered at this rank. All areas of chemical and biomolecular engineering are of interest.

The Bhamla Lab is seeking a Research Scientist I at Georgia Tech. The Research Scientist will play a leading role in the technical aspects of multiple research projects within the group, overseeing the instrument performance, data, and data analysis, project timelines, and project deliverables for each project. Additional tasks include managing milestones and deadlines of sponsored research projects, creating and maintaining project tracking progress, scheduling project meetings and updates, and setting up project briefings and obtaining necessary internal approvals. Assisting Dr. Bhamla with research articles for publishing in international journals and participating in collaborative efforts within Georgia Tech and other universities.

Responsibilities

Research Scientist I responsibilities:

• Contribute to and conduct research related to domestic and international collaborations.

• Contribute to and conduct lab and fieldwork.

• Participate in mentoring activities related to the Frugal Science Award Initiative.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or related field.
