What you’ll be doing...

As a Verizon Director-Retail for Kiosk locations you'll be a critical component in supporting business growth in your district. You will help communicate business changes and key messages to our indirect partners (e.g., local agents, Big 6 agents, National Retail). You will also help communicate business changes and key messages to employees. Manages a team composed of both indirect account managers and General Managers. You'll drive a team that oversees multiple Kiosk locations. Your main objective will be to develop a vision and purpose, along with sales strategies to motivate and inspire those most impacted by your direct reports. You'll build a high-performance team culture who will deliver outstanding sales results through excellent customer experiences.

  • Developing staff and leading the sales and experience efforts across your Kiosk locations to deliver outstanding results.

  • Fostering leadership qualities in your direct reports to motivate and coach their teams to achieve high performance results, and to create a culture of collaboration and curiosity.

  • Managing and growing the existing customer base.

  • Monitoring financial, budgeting, and sales reporting for Kiosk locations in your territory, and driving high-margin revenue across all branded distribution.

  • Delivering shared customer experiences across the geography.

  • Leading geographically dispersed teams by facilitating meetings, evaluating issues, providing solutions and best practices while driving results against timelines.

  • Developing local community relationships.

  • Resolving employees and customer escalations in a timely manner.

  • Fostering relationships with local leadership to understand any opportunities Verizon may have within the local kiosks.

We're hiring immediately for this position Compensation includes base pay plus a monthly commission structure that provides the opportunity to earn more

You’ll need to have: 

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Retail management experience.

  • A valid driver's license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following: 

  • A degree.

  • Knowledge of the wireless industry.

  • Familiarity with billing systems and software packages.

  • Experience managing competing priorities with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience in forecasting, tracking, and reporting key financial, budget, and sales metrics.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • The ability to present to a variety of audiences.

  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
