Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Director to join our team at BluSky. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our construction and restoration projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve sales goals, negotiate contracts, and convert opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Project Management: Oversee project budgets, improve profitability, and monitor costs to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimating and Pricing: Use advanced estimating software and techniques to provide accurate project estimates and pricing.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, property owners, and managers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, attend industry events, and collaborate with the VP of Sales to drive business growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Mitigation, Reconstruction, Business Development, and Project Accounting to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in marketing/business development and sales in the restoration or construction industry with a solid track record of sales growth.
  • Estimating and Pricing: Extensive experience in construction estimating and catastrophe experience.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and Xactimate (and other estimating software) proficiency preferred.
  • Certifications: OSHA 10/30, CPR, and First Aid certifications preferred.
  • Travel: Minimal out-of-state travel is required, with some out-of-area and overnight travel expected for training, meetings, or jobs.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
