Sodexo Live's Airport Lounge Segment is seeking an Executive Chef to join the Delta Sky Club mega-hub in Atlanta. Prior experience managing volume/large scale first-class culinary operations, large teams and logistics is a must. The Executive Chef will work closely with Delta and the Sodexo team to create exciting and sophisticated culinary experiences for the Delta guests, exceeding expectations while enhancing client program objectives.  This position is responsible for the organization and execution oversight of all culinary operations serving 5 million guests a year in one of the 7 Atlanta Delta Sky Clubs within the busiest airport in the world.  This is a great opportunity to for an Executive Chef who is looking to be part of a large culinary corporation on a prestigious client portfolio.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

  • have a passion for food and innovation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
