A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HELP DESK TECHNICIAN 2/1, YOU WILL:
Provide technical assistance and support to computer users - Tier 2/1 Support
Provide IT support to resolve and document problems, using appropriate ticketing systems. Escalates problems to the appropriate organization or process, when required
Provide follow-up actions with customers to ensure resolution of incidents or requests
Provide support responsibilities which includes T2/1 assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, applications, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems
Troubleshoot computer problems, performs hardware and software diagnostics, coordinates needed repairs, resolves computer system problems
Provide professional and responsive customer service to users
AS A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE, YOU ARE:
Customer service oriented with exceptional organizational skills
A skilled communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both written and verbal
A resolute problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced high energy environment
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
An Associates degree or equivalent; AND
1 or more years of related experience
Basic knowledge of PC/networking environments including: installation, testing, diagnostics, repair, and troubleshooting
An ability to obtain and maintain a public trust
Louisiana Residency, living within a ~60-mile radius of our Bossier City facility
