Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight, management, and leadership of front-line manufacturing employees
  • Provide oversight, management, and leadership of both quality assurance and quality control
  • Execute routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams being led
  • Work together with people from the business unit and look to further develop team members beyond their functional skill sets
  • Work collaboratively within a teaming environment
  • Lead and develop team through the continuous improvement journey on 6S, Standard work, and takt time achievement
  • Flexibility in schedule to work outside of 1st shift hours as needed for business needs
  • Include quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes
  • Utilize skills in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.
  • Have the ability to audit critical processes per defined schedule
  • Develop new solutions in a team setting based upon precedent set by the business
  • Work together with business plant leadership on solving team and shop problems
  • Be capable of taking a project approach (A3 methodology) to solve systemic issues and presenting outcomes to the team and leadership
  • Deliver products as part of a team
  • Work on cross functional teams and participate/lead continuous improvement (lean) events on solving business problems
  • Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
  • Conduct product quality review associated with incoming and outgoing material.
  • Show a strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant processes and hardware
  • Access various sources of data to determine acceptable criteria
  • Assist the team QE with the analysis of returns to generating rework documents
  • Initiate quality alerts and concerns

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Production, Manufacturing and or Supervision
