Our client, a manufacturing and production company, is seeking a Training Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and will be an excellent team player which will align successfully in the organization.
 
Job Title: Training Coordinator 
Location: Durham, NC 
Pay Range: $18.50 
 
What’s the Job?

  •  Identifying skill gaps among Quality Assurance Employees
  • Apply various training methods: One-on-one coaching, workshops, job shadowing and mentoring.
  • Train employees in their assignments
  • Conduct onboarding for new temporary Quality Assurance Staff
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training methods
  • Conduct periodic audits to assess employee progress
  • Document and communicate performance gaps and errors during audits
  • Collaborate with team members to suggest new training practices
  • Observe and enforce safety and housekeeping procedures
  • May be required to perform duties outside normal responsibilities as needed.
     
What’s Needed?
  • 1 or more years of Experience in training and coaching  new employees 
  •  High School Diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to stand, to push, pull. lift or carry up to 60lbs occasionally and up to 25lbs frequently.  
  • Ability to stand for long periods according to shift requirements.  
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) 
  • Proficiency in using intranet, email, Excel, Word, and management information systems (MIS)
  • Clear communication skills, both orally and in writing. Strong people skills, customer service, interpersonal skills and attention to detail. 
  • Organizational, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
