Wage: $15/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Production role in Springfield, MO. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assembly and disassembly of or torque converter assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Tear down and cleanup of transfer cases
- Set up and use various machines
- Inspect parts, tag defective parts for disposition by Quality
- Use hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit, adjustment, or friction
- Perform washing, cleaning, checking, inspection, tool changes, packaging, machining, material handling, and repair
- Use precision measuring equipment to ensure customer specifications are met

Production Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Forklift, shipping, inventory, and procurement experience
- Forklift, welding, and familiarity with IATF 19649/ISO 14001 preferred
- Basic math and reasoning skills
- Able to read and follow work instructions
- Work in an environment with possible exposure to temperature variances, noise, dust, and fumes
- Good mechanical skills, ability to use calipers and pneumatic tools
- Work in the hot/cold environments, warehouse is not climate controlled
- Lift 40-50lbs regularly, and 75lbs occasionally; lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs
- Knowledge of torque converters
- Ability to operate various machinery, including CNC, drill press, lathes, welders, grit blasters and balancing
- Good attention to detail
