Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Manage daily production operations, coordinate with retail stores and ecommerce channels, and develop and implement manufacturing protocols and quality control procedures.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with FDA, health department, and OSHA requirements, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management and purchasing of raw materials and supplies, and maintain and improve production processes, documenting best practices.
  • Staffing and Training: Manage staffing, including recruiting, training, and retention programs, and prepare and analyze various operational reports.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4-7 years of experience in food manufacturing or confectionery production.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with proficiency in process optimization and quality control.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with inventory management systems and production scheduling.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Certifications: Valid food safety certification or willingness to obtain.
