  • Monitor and report on quality and efficiency metrics
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Verify the safety of all equipment and machinery
  • Collaborate with team leaders to meet weekly shipping schedules
  • Optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain adherence to company and regulatory policies
  • Recommend and implement hiring and releasing of production personnel as needed
  • Approve and adjust time cards and vacation requests
  • Make adjustments to production schedules as required
  • Maintain positive employee relations and take disciplinary action when necessary
  • Record departmental activities and achievements
  • Maintain adherence to Bill of Materials (BOM) and assembly processes
  • Conduct performance evaluations of assigned employees
  • Host regular department meetings to discuss safety, quality, productivity, and other key issues
