Technical Support Specialist

Our client, a leading provider in the SaaS industry, is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join their team. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be part of the IT Department supporting customer onboarding and technical support teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Help Desk Technician
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Set up, configure, and support kiosks, tablets, and other tech equipment as part of the customer onboarding process for the RightBytes SaaS solution.
- Document issues and solutions within a SharePoint/Microsoft Teams environment.
- Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures.
What’s Needed?
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or 1-3 years of related experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with MS Office products (Excel & Word) and configuring various tech equipment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform basic math functions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and flexibility to work in a team environment.
