Shift: Monday – Friday, core hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Job Summary:

At Silencer Central, we believe that Customers + Integrity = Winning. This role is responsible for handling technical inquiries, barrel threading questions, and processing warranty claims. Additionally, the Technical Product Specialist will identify opportunities to sell accessories and barrel threading services when appropriate. Essential Functions:

  • Provide Technical Product Support:
    • Handle inbound calls and transfers related to technical questions about Silencer Central products.
    • Provide expert advice on product specifications, features, and compatibility.
    • Assist customers with technical aspects of using and maintaining products, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Address Barrel Threading Inquiries:
    • Answer questions related to barrel threading services, including compatibility and technical specifications.
    • Offer guidance on barrel threading options based on customer firearm specifications and needs.
    • Coordinate with the barrel threading service team to ensure accurate and timely service.
  • Process Warranty Claims:
    • Manage and process warranty claims, ensuring a smooth experience for the customer.
    • Evaluate warranty issues to determine eligibility and appropriate resolution.
    • Work with the warranty service team to facilitate repairs, replacements, or other solutions.
  • Sales and Customer Engagement:
    • Identify opportunities to sell accessories and barrel threading services based on customer needs and technical inquiries.
    • Engage customers in conversations that lead to potential sales, providing tailored recommendations.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets for accessories and barrel threading services.
  • Maintain Product Knowledge and Expertise:
    • Stay informed about the latest advancements in firearm technology and Silencer Central’s product lineup.
    • Continually improve technical knowledge to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
    • Provide feedback to the sales and product development teams based on customer interactions and technical issues.
  • Enhance Customer Satisfaction:
    • Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving issues promptly and effectively.
    • Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to customers.
    • Build strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with the sales, customer service, and product development teams to ensure consistent and accurate information is provided to customers.
  • Share customer feedback and insights with the team to improve products and services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support or sales role, preferably within the firearms industry.
  • Strong knowledge of firearms, suppressors, and related accessories required; experience with barrel threading is a plus.
  • Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability required.
  • Proven sales ability and experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and technical support tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, departmental, and corporate goals
  • Critical thinking ability - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: Starting pay is $23.00 and will vary based on experience and relevant skills/knowledge. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
