Position Overview:

In the role of Parts and Service Specialist, you will be essential in delivering top-notch customer service for various parts ordering processes. Your duties will encompass assisting clients, managing parts orders, researching technical specifications for accurate parts identification, and upholding high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customer accounts through effective communication.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to enhance sales through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Support customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing necessary items.
  • Collaborate with local suppliers to ensure accurate part identification.
  • Offer customer assistance via phone and at the parts counter.
  • Oversee Purchase Orders for required items.
  • Assist in inventory management and returns processing.
  • Handle billing transactions and ensure efficient payment processing.
  • Work on customer sales and service quotes.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Coordinate with team members as necessary.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving tasks using relevant software.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective customer engagement.
  • Strong phone handling and active listening abilities.
  • Demonstrated background in customer support.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer support is preferred.
  • Experience in the industry and familiarity with parts is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Capability to lift objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
