Job Summary:

We are seeking a proficient and customer-oriented IT Help Desk Support professional. The individual in this role will be tasked with delivering technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software for our clientele. This position demands exceptional problem-solving abilities, a solid grasp of Windows-based IT systems, and the capability to assist the organization's personnel on-site as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Deliver first-line technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Incident Management: Record, monitor, and manage incidents and service requests submitted by users.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical problems concerning computers, printers, peripheral devices, and software applications.
  • User Assistance: Aid users with account configurations, password resets, and access to applications and systems.
  • System Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, system backups, and hardware enhancements.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures, solutions, and user manuals.
  • Escalation: Refer complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, data protection policies, and company security protocols.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other IT team members and departments to resolve technical challenges and enhance IT services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: An associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are advantageous.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in IT help desk support.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and fundamental networking concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Customer Service: A strong customer service orientation focused on delivering high-quality support and ensuring user satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
