The Regional Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for executing HR strategies that align with the operational needs of Discovery Behavioral Health. This role supports the organization's mission and objectives through effective employee and facility management.
- Deliver strategic HR consultation to facility staff within the designated region.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Develop and implement tailored plans to minimize turnover and track progress toward retention goals.
- Evaluate HR initiatives and assess their return on investment to support organizational strategies.
- Provide comprehensive support in employee relations, talent management, and cultural enhancement.
- Analyze HR-related data to address concerns such as turnover rates and employee morale.
- Offer daily performance management support and guidance to facility leaders.
- Educate management on HR issues and potential legal implications.
- Partner with facility leaders on HR matters, including compensation and talent acquisition.
- Conduct investigations into employee claims and ensure fair resolutions in accordance with company policies.
- Promote alignment with DBH values and objectives within facilities.
- Communicate HR policies, compensation, and benefits information to employees and management.
- Conduct exit interviews as necessary.
- Manage employee grievances and respond to HR inquiries promptly.
- Maintain employee records related to transfers, pay adjustments, and promotions.
- Guide management in addressing workplace issues and resolving disciplinary matters.
- Facilitate discussions between management and staff to resolve conflicts, referring complex issues to senior HR leadership.
- Advise management on compliance with state regulations and organizational requirements.
- Train existing and new facility leaders on HR policies and systems.
- Travel to facilities at least quarterly as part of the role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with diverse individuals and groups.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Support team members and celebrate collective achievements.
- Establish cooperative relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Employee Relations.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in standard office software.
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.
- Solid understanding of HR laws and regulations.
