We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Wailuku location is a 90-bed nursing facility. The Position: We're looking for passionate Registered Nurses to help us with providing professional nursing care to residents following established policies and procedures of the facility. Conducts accurate physical assessments of residents, determines their needs and implements appropriate interventions to meet those needs.
Collaborates with physicians, consultants, and agencies to improve quality of services and to resolve identified problems.
Administers and maintains inventory of resident medications/treatments as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures.
Oversees care delivery by CNAs Requirements: $8,000 Retention Bonus with Full-time Status
$4,000 Retention Bonus with Part-time Status
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii.
Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviation.
Experience in geriatrics and current nursing standards of practice preferred.
Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
