Nurse Specialist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in Wailuku, Hawaii. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and services, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care and services to patients and families, utilizing the nursing process to deliver care.
Collaborate with licensed practical nurses and nursing assistive personnel to ensure seamless care delivery.
Delegates nursing tasks according to legal and regulatory guidelines, organizational policies, and medical orders.
Utilize your expertise to teach and mentor LPNs and nursing assistive personnel on special tasks of nursing care.
Verify staff competency to perform special tasks and ensure quality of care rendered.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, change management, decision making, detail oriented, customer service, influence, interpersonal relations, oral communication, prioritization, problem solving, quality management, results orientation, system thinking, teamwork, time management, and written communication competencies.
Experience working with electronic medical records and proficiency in various healthcare settings, including Operating Room, Emergency Department, Telemetry, Intensive Care Units, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Cardiology, Ambulatory Treatment, Diagnostic Imaging, and Oncology.
