We're seeking an AmeriCorps Planning Grant Project Director to join our team at Virginia Learns. This role is perfect for someone passionate about public K-12 education and community impact. Candidates must currently reside in the Commonwealth of Virginia to be considered for this position.
As the Project Director, you'll lead the development of a new AmeriCorps program focused on improving educational outcomes across Virginia's public schools.
This full-time, remote position will lead the planning and development of a new AmeriCorps program to expand our high-impact tutoring initiatives statewide. The Project Director will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive needs assessment, engaging stakeholders, designing program elements, and preparing a full AmeriCorps grant application.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Experience with K-12 education programs and policies
- Experience in program development and management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with federal grants and programs
- Passion for education and community service
